This is a poem/song I wrote one day at school when I had some down time in my math class. It is based on a dream I had about me falling in love with a faceless friend who was never identified in the dream. Enjoy!
You've captivated me. I dreamed that we saved each other from death. And now I have some more respect for you. But, why oh why, do I feel this way? I'm not supposed to feel this way. I know you won't ever feel the same way. So why do I feel this way?
I used to think of you as a random person, nothing less. I merely saw you walking the hallways. you never caught my attention until I dreamed what you did. So, why oh why do I feel this way? I'm not supposed to feel this way! I know you won't ever feel the same way. So why do I feel this way?
You sit there laughing with me. But I think you're laughing at me. You're mocking me, hating me but I'm still loving you. You've captivated me. And I want you to know that I'll always be there for you. Why, oh why do I feel this way? I'm not supposed to feel this way. I know you won't ever feel the same for me. So why do I feel this way?
like the idea, especially the first part of the last stanza or section. good dreamy feel to it.
