There is a kid at school who has two small patches of gray-colored hair. All of the kids won't stop asking, "Is that really gray hair?" The poor kid gets really annoyed at that question. He also gets annoyed is someone asks, "Do you know that you have some gray hair on the back of you head?" The questions just keep coming down as if it is snow falling during a blizzard. On his outside appearance, he looks calm and normal looking when he's asked those questions. However, on his inside appearance, someone would see something quite different. As they looked at his brain and asked those questions continuously, a small flame of anger would rise and never stop. If nobody says anything about the gray hair, he will be happy when he goes home. On the other hand, if anybody did say something about the hair, that anger flame in his brain would be out of control when he arrived at home. He is tired of being called an "old man." He does believe that gray hair is a sign of a very wise human being, as his bus driver has said the same thing for she has had gray hair since age eighteen. He has had his two small spots of gray hair since the age of six. He wishes people would pay more attention to his natural hair color of brown instead of all attention to the small amount of gray hair on the back of his head.

Flaw
I found this scribble that I wrote four years ago in my seventh grade Language Arts writing journal. Based on what is written here, I gather that my teacher asked us to write about a flaw that we have the others seem to focus all of their attention on and I wrote about how annoying it was for people to ask why I have gray hair on the back of my head (yes, I really do). I had completely forgotten how annoying and irritating it was hearing those questions until I read this recently (and this was written long before I actually started caring and liking writing!) and now I remember how I used to feel getting asked questions about it repeatedly. Enjoy!
The Black Man's Burden
This was an assignment for my Modern World History class two years ago when I was a sophomore. We had to write a rebuttal poem to Rudyard Kipling's famous "The White Man's Burden," so I wrote about the black man's burdens in those times. Enjoy!
See the black man's burden
Ye gain protection of your children
Only to lose land and ye crops
Ye work like dogs endlessly
While watching the white man relax
The white man forces ye into slavery
And ye may never be free and
Ye children will never know freedom
See the black man's burden
View the terror within ye and deny it
For the white man need ye
Ye will see freedom and will chase it
Yet ye will never catch it
The fight for peace will be a battle lost
Ye must also know that the goals ye make
Will fade into nothingness because of the white man
See the black man's burden
Ye will work only for the white man
The white man sees his own burdens, yet they don't exist
All their "burdens" deal with ye as their slave
Yet, ye must remember one thing:
Whatever the white man's gain is
A lost of ye and is
The Black Man's burden

FanFic: Wipeout Chapter Four: Assault on the Jedi Temple
Here is chapter four of Wipeout. It ends with a cliffhanger, paving the way for part three which I'm going to start work on soon. Enjoy!
Solin's rescue team approached the Jedi Council chambers. They were admitted instantly and stood before the council while Sabe' explained everything that happened. As Sabe' reported their failure, Ngema had an uneasy feeling growing inside of her. She kept glancing outside at the window, which was noticed by master Liam Park. When Sabe' finished explaining what happened on Malachor V, he addressed her.
"What is it, Ngema?" he asked.
"I have a really bad feeling," she replied nervously. "I feel like something terrible is about to happen."
"That's probably just the aftershock of what you discovered on Malachor V," Park said, dismissively. He then spoke to the rest of the rescue team. "Well, since we now know that Solin has turned to the Dark Side, we can send a team of Jedi to go after him and try to turn him back and-"
Suddenly, an explosion was heard, making the chambers shake. Once everyone regained their composure, Keira ran over to the window and looked down on an awful sight. A large ship had landed outside the Jedi Temple and thousands and thousands of Dark Jedi were marching toward the temple doors, which had been blown apart. In front of the approaching Dark Jedi walked a hooded figure that had their lightsaber ignited. Keira recognized the figure's walk immediately.
"It's Solin," she cried to the rest of the party. The council stood up out of their chairs and rushed over to the window and looked down on the incoming army.
"Oh no," Ewan Nielson exclaimed. "It's an entire army of Dark Jedi! We must warn the rest of the temple and get down there and sort out this mess, all of us!"
The council rushed out of the chambers, all of them extracted their lightsabers and igniting them. Once the council had left, the rescue team heard Nielson's voice, magnified to a thousand times louder than normal.
"JEDI KNIGHTS, THERE IS AN APPROACHING DARK JEDI ARMY MAKING ITS WAY TO THE TEMPLE! YOU MUST ARM YOURSELVES AND PREPARE TO HOLD OFF THE ARMY! MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU ALL!"
Sabe' then reached for his lightsaber and ignited it.
"We should go, the council will need our help, especially if Solin is involved," he said.
Elocin and Ngema joined Sabe' and lit their own weapons. Bazila and Y'not drew their swords and looked prepared to fight. Keira however, remained still.
"Keira, we can use this opportunity to turn Solin back, we need your help."
Keira nodded and lit her icy blue lightsaber. Together, the team left the chambers and made their way toward the entrance of the Jedi Temple. They reached the entrance, but were too late. The Dark Jedi army had already breached the entrance and was storming into the Jedi Temple. Solin led the way through the entrance hall, killing any Jedi who got in his way. Suddenly, Solin froze and raised his hand, signaling the rest of the army to stop as well. The Jedi council then burst through the doors Solin was intending to cross to continue the march into the temple. They ran forward, lightsabers raised.
"NOW!" Solin shouted to the army. The army broke out of its marching formation and immediately spread out throughout the room and started fighting with the council members. The rescue team watched as every member of the council was taken down within seconds. Keira noticed that Solin had disappeared from the fighting and guessed that he had gone through the doors the council had came in to continue the onslaught of Jedi. She pointed this out to Sabe' who then shouted for everyone to follow him.
They made their way through the doors and met a gruesome discovery as they walked the halls of the temple: hundreds of Jedi lay dead in pools of blood, many of whom still had their lightsabers on their hilts; Solin didn't even give them fighting chances. Keira noted that none of the younglings were among the bodies littering the floor meaning that someone had seen to it that they, at least, made it out of the temple before the onslaught. The group then approached the hallway leading to the council chambers. They saw Solin fighting two Jedi; one with a blue lightsaber, the other with a green. He quickly dispatched of the Jedi he was fighting and then turned to face the group. Solin smiled and slowly advanced on the group. Suddenly, a figure clad in hooded blue robes approached Solin from behind. The figure ignited a gold lightsaber and lifted his hand and blasted force lightning at Solin, who was thrown backwards by the attack, crashing into a wall. The figure then lowered his hood. It was Nvled Jear, the Chancellor.
"Chancellor Jear," Solin said, clearly impressed with the Chancellor's move. "I had no idea you possessed powers of the force."
"Oh yes," Jear replied. "I was trained as a Jedi and took on the role of Jedi Knight twenty years ago. You never saw me in the temple because after I was made a Jedi Knight, the council allowed me to start my political career, something I had been wanting to do for a long time."
"I see," Solin said thoughtfully. "Well, you used force lightning on another person as an attack, you must be a servant of the Dark Side?"
"No, I used the attack merely to turn your attention away from your friends over there."
"Very well then, I'll just have to kill you first before I take care of my former comrades!" Solin then leapt up and attacked Jear, who easily blocked the attack.
The Chancellor put up a vicious counter attack to all of Solin's moves. Solin kept attempting to use force attacks against Jear, but the Chancellor was too quick for him and he had to block the Chancellor's powerful attacks. After being pushed back into a wall, Solin staggered and decided to change tactics, using his words as a weapon instead of his lightsaber.
"You've done well, Chancellor," he chided. "You would be a great asset to the Order of the Sith Lords. Join us and you will be spared."
"And what happens to the rest of the Jedi?" Jear demanded.
Solin laughed. "Once you're a Sith, you will no longer care about the filthy Jedi!"
"Then, I will never join!" The chancellor then attacked Solin again. Solin was caught off guard and barely dodged a slash from Jear that would have taken off his right arm. Jear then unleashed a barrage of attacks on Solin who required a lot of effort successfully block all of the attacks. The Chancellor appeared to be using force speed now and Solin began wearing down. Again, he tried to tempt Nvled.
"Very good, Jear," he said in a tired voice. "I can sense that the Dark Side is just moments from completely consuming you. Strike me down with all of your hatred and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete!"
The chancellor laughed. "You actually think I'm actually using the emotions of the Dark Side? Oh ho! I'm using them in the lightsaber form; I'm putting all of the dark energy into the lightsaber, which is why it's moving a lot faster than you. I also pride myself on being a master of force speed which, when used with this lightsaber form, is very deadly against any opponent, even one who is considered faster on the Dark Side."
"Even with that power on your side, you are no match for the power of the Dark Side, Chancellor!" Solin shouted, leaping up and attempting to impale Jear, who easily blocked the attack. They then continued their battle. Solin, out of desperation, started using force powers against Jear who successfully prevented him from doing it each time. Quick as a flash, Jear leapt up and landed behind Solin, who was distracted by the sudden movement and didn't turn around in time for the Chancellor to kick him over, sending him flying through the room; his lightsaber landed about twenty feet away from him. Jear then slowly advanced on Solin, who had collapsed on the ground, his lightsaber pointed down at Solin.
"Your rein of evil ends now!" he shouted.
"No, no, no, YOU WILL DIE!" Solin shrieked before unleashing a powerful blast of force lightning at the chancellor. Jear quickly raised his lightsaber and blocked the attack. The lightning appeared to be reflecting off the lightsaber and back into Solin, who started convulsing on the ground. After a few moments, the lightning stopped and Solin slumped over, his breathing raspy. The Chancellor deactivated his lightsaber and walked over to Solin, examining him. He then turned around and made to walk away when Solin let out a burst of laughter and screamed "JEDI FOOL!" before unleashing another force lightning attack. The lightning struck the Chancellor, who was blasted off his feet and thrown into the air. Solin then got back up and started laughing at the Chancellor, who was stirring feebly on the ground.
"You actually thought I had given up didn't you? I just made it look like the lightning was attacking me, but in reality, I was making it disappear right before it hit me!" he laughed. Solin then called his lightsaber to him, activated it, and raised it to deliver the killing blow. However, Keira leapt forward and blocked his attack. Solin looked surprised, but pleased to see his former apprentice and a chance to fight her again. As Keira fought Solin, the Chancellor got back up and relit his blade. Seeing he was back up, Solin force-pushed Keira back and faced the Chancellor again. Jear kept up his vicious counterattack against Solin, who was still having trouble blocking all of the attacks. Solin then blocked an attack by the Chancellor and kicked him in the chest, sending him backward. Jear's lightsaber deactivated in his hand and he fell to the ground. Solin ran up to him and the Chancellor acted quickly and tripped Solin over him and stood back up to continue fighting. Solin then let out a bellow of fury and unleashed a powerful force wave that sent everyone in the room except himself staggering backward. Solin then jumped over the Chancellor who had fallen again and ran towards the steps, intending to leave the room.
The group quickly recovered and ran after Solin, the Jedi igniting their lightsabers and Y'not and Bazila drawing their swords. As the chased Solin, they noticed he was heading back toward the entrance.
"He's trying to escape, stop him!" Keira shouted.
They then sped up their running in a vain attempt to stop Solin escaping. However, as they did so, Solin's voice went ringing through the halls of the temple just like master Nielson's had.
"RETREAT. RETREAT. THE JEDI ARE COUNTERATTACKING. WE MUST RETURN TO THE BASE!" Solin's voice echoed.
The Dark Jedi army was then seen running toward the entrance of the temple where their ship was waiting. About half of them that had marched into the temple earlier remained. The Jedi who were chasing Solin then used force speed to catch up with him. However, before they could reach the doors after the last Dark Jedi had left, the ray shields were suddenly activated in front of them. They quickly stopped before crashing into the shield and saw Solin running to catch up with his army, having been the one who activated the shields. They watched in agony as the Dark Jedi boarded the ship and prepared it for take off. Suddenly, Keira turned and ran towards the takeoff center. The rest of the group then quickly followed her.
"Keira, what are you doing?" Sabe' asked.
"We're going to follow them," she shouted back. "They have a place where ships can land if the shields are down and I want to get on the ship! We are going to take Solin back and he will take us to Vulcan where I can get my revenge on him!"
"Revenge? What do you mean?"
"He took my master and turned him into something he is not," Keira answered, reaching the hangar and quickly selecting a ship that they ran to. "I'm going to get on that ship and bring back my master, the master that trained me to be a Jedi and then I will have him take us to Vulcan."
They reached the ship Keira had picked out and quickly got on board it. Y'not and Bazila, classically trained pilots, headed for the cockpit and fired up the engines. The rest of them made their way toward the sitting area of the ship and sat down together. Before anyone could say anything, the Chancellor piped up.
"I think that Senator Mobbs may be a spy for them, Solin, I mean," he said.
"What do you mean?" Sabe' asked.
"During the last session of the senate, he mentioned that he had knew for a fact that the Dark Jedi would no longer be involved with the war, and it looked like he was right. I don't think it was mere coincidence that the day after he said that, the Jedi Temple was attacked by an entire army of Dark Jedi."
The rest of the Jedi considered this for a moment before Elocin spoke up. "I think that once we have Solin back amongst us, he will be able to tell us whether or not it is true that Mobbs is indeed working with the Dark Jedi."
Ngema added, "If it is true that he is working with them, he will have to removed from office and taken before the Senate."
"Yes," the Chancellor said. "However, I won't be able to help you in that respect. None in the Senate know that I am a Jedi except for my aides so I will have to keep up the act that I am merely a politician."
"Very well then," Sabe' said. "We will take it upon ourselves to arrest Mobbs if necessary. It is safe to say that we could be the only survivors of that attack on the Temple. There are other Jedi and other councils spread throughout the galaxy, but they won't be able to help us in time. I also think that Solin should not be there to arrest him, if he is a member of the Dark Order, it is likely the temptation to use the Dark Side will be too much for him. Now, we must wait for our pilots to reach the ship Vulcan is on."
As if on cue, Y'not and Bazila entered the meeting room.
"The ship is on autopilot and I programmed it to follow Solin's ship until his ship comes to a stop. We will then pilot the ship into the hanger so we can do what is needed," Bazila explained.
"Very good," Elocin said. "Now, since there is no more Jedi Council on Coruscant, I have the authority as a former member of the Council to initiate you two into the order. Are you two prepared to join the Jedi?" Bazila and Y'not nodded. "Very well then, come here." They walked up to her and she put a hand over each of their chests and closed her eyes. After doing this for a few moments, Bazila and Y'not seemed to light up in front of them all and all three of them were lifted off their feet. A few minutes later, they landed smoothly back on the ground and Elocin stepped back from them.
"What just happened?" Bazila asked.
"I have just transferred some of my powers into each of you. You two now have the ability to use the force and I was able to make it so the two of you can use the force at the level of a typical Jedi Knight. Now, do you both swear to uphold the principles of the Jedi and use the force for knowledge and defense, and never for attack?" Bazila and Y'not nodded.
"Then you are now officially Jedi. Here," Elocin added, drawing out two lightsabers for the both of them. "I took these from the Temple as we were leaving and you two can now use them until you are able to construct your own. Now, I suggest we all center ourselves in the Force until the time comes for us to get on Solin's ship.
They all sat down on the floor, meditating. As Keira did so, she wondered how much it was going to take to turn Solin back to the Light Side and whether or not she would have the strength to do it herself…
A/n: This is the end of part two! I finished it much earlier than I thought I would! I'm going to start outlining part three as soon as possible so stayed tuned for it. I plan on being finished sometime before the summer is over, keep reading!
FanFic: Wipeout Chapter Three: Tensions in the Senate
Here is chapter three of Wipeout. Enjoy!
Senator Hatt Mobbs of Naboo, the former King, stood outside the senate chambers, waiting to be admitted into the chambers for the meeting to start. Mobbs himself had asked the Chancellor, Nvled Jear, former Senator of Naboo whom Mobbs replaced, to call for a special session of the Senate regarding the war against Malastare and its followers. Mobbs stood in his elegant black robes, a sign of the shallow mood he felt about the progress made in the war. Standing next to him was Captain Menousek; his personal bodyguard who left the service of the royal palace after Mobbs' term was up in order to continue serving his close friend. Menousek was wearing his white fighting outfit that was so different from Mobbs' robes, it would be hard for passerby to believe that they worked together. After waiting outside in the senate hall for a few moments, all of the Senators were admitted into the senate chambers. Mobbs and Menousek took their place on the Naboo Senatorial platform. Once all of the senators and their aides were seated, they waited in silence as Chancellor Jear's platform rose from the Chancellor's office. Nvled Jear was wearing elegant robes of blue and was accompanied by his usual two aides. His platform finished rising and he addressed the senators.
"Delegates of the Senate, welcome," he said in his powerful voice. "I have called for this special session of the Senate at the request of the honorable senator from Naboo, Hatt Mobbs. He wants to address all of us on a matter he considers to be of utmost importance. The chair recognizes the Senator from the sovereign system of Naboo at this time."
Mobbs stood and activated his platform. It carried him out in front of the Chancellor so the entire Senate could see him. He addressed the entire Senate while focusing most of his attention on Jear.
"Supreme Chancellor and my fellow delegates of the Senate," he spoke in a loud voice that carried throughout the Senate Chambers. "I have come to you to ask for your help in something that I feel should be addressed and decided this very day. I formally ask you, my fellow representatives of the Republic, to move for a vote of more Jedi involvement in the war." At this, several cries of outburst erupted, but Mobbs plowed on. "I feel that the time has come for this necessary movement in the war and it will help out movement greatly."
The outcries from the Senators continued after Mobbs' speech. Jear's aide that was sitting on his right called for order before the talking subsided. Jear then stood up to address Mobbs.
"Senator Mobbs, you know full well while the Senate has voted to continue to keep the Jedi directly out of combat unless Dark Jedi are involved," he said calmly.
"Oh yeah?" Mobbs replied irritably. "Why don't you tell me why that is?"
"We need as much protection here on Coruscant as possible," Jear explained coolly. "If too many Jedi get directly involved in the world, it would mean there is not enough protection here in the Capital for all of us here in this room."
"Less protection here would be a small price to pay if we can save thousands of innocent lives on other planets that are in this Republic," Mobbs exclaimed. "We need to have the Jedi become directly involved in all battles now, even those without Dark Jedi!
"Very well," Jear replied pleasantly. "I now turn to the rest of the Senate on deciding this matter. Those in favor of getting more Jedi involvement in the war, please raise your hands."
About ten percent of the Senate raised their hands, including Mobbs. Mobbs glared around at all of the Senate, as though that would convince them to vote otherwise.
"And those of you against more Jedi involvement, please raise your hands."
The majority of the Senate raised their hands. After considering Mobbs for a moment, the Chancellor added his vote to the count. Mobbs continued glaring at the Senate and had a look of pure hatred on his face when he looked at Jear.
"It seems that the Senate has voted once again to keep Jedi out of this conflict unless Dark Jedi are involved with the fighting. Now if there is anything else…" Jear said and without warning, Mobbs' bitter feelings about the vote exploded.
"YOU FOOLS," he screamed. "I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THE DARK JEDI ARE GOING TO BE STAYING OUT OF THIS WAR FROM NOW ON! YOU WILL ALL RUE THIS DAY!"
Jear then shouted over Mobbs, which was impressive because Mobbs' shrieks were being heard outside the Senate Chambers.
"THAT IS ENOUGH, SENATOR!" he shouted. Mobbs stopped speaking and sat down in his platform, still glaring at Jear. "Now," Jear continued in his normal voice. "Unless there is anything else, this meeting is now adjourned."
FanFic: Wipeout Chapter Two: Discovery on Malachor V
Chapter two of Wipeout. Enjoy!
The ship carrying the rescue team sent to find Solin Malice landed on Malachor V. The team exited the ship together, scanning around for any signs of life. While they looked around, Sabe' spotted what appeared to be a building of some sort.
"Look over there," he said pointing. "That's probably the Dark Jedi academy. Solin is most likely in there."
"Yes, I believe I can feel his presence," Elocin said wisely. "It would do us well to remain cautious and stick together while we are in there. Keira, do you think you will be able to use your Battle Meditation in there?"
"Not if there are swarms of Dark Jedi," Keira answered. "I find that the Battle Meditation is useless when there are so many of them in one area. However, I think with the six of us, there shouldn't be a problem."
"Still, it wouldn't hurt to have Battle Mediation on our side," Elocin replied. "Okay, let's move in." Elocin turned to Y'not and Bazila. "You two, how are you planning on covering us?"
Because Y'not only communicated in his native Wookie language, Bazila spoke for the both of them.
"We each have two swords and a blaster rifle and blaster pistol on backup," she answered. "Y'not also has brute strength and can tear most enemies to shreds with very little effort."
Y'not growled proudly. Elocin spoke again. "Very good, now let's stop talking and get inside that temple."
With that, the group made their way towards the temple. When they reached the front doors, they found the door was sealed shut. The four Jedi walked closer to the door and lifted their hands up, concentrating heavily. Together, they slowly broke the door, breaking it apart far enough for them to enter the building. They entered the temple and were immediately surrounded by a large group of Dark Jedi. The Jedi smiled and ignited their lightsabers, Keira's blue, Ngema's Magenta, Sabe's yellow, and Elocin's orange. Y'not and Bazila quickly drew their swords and the rescue group attacked the Dark Jedi. Elocin fought close to Y'not and Bazila and noticed that they were taking down Dark Jedi a lot faster than the rest of them. Within minutes, all the Dark Jedi that had surrounded them lay dead. The Jedi deactivated their lightsabers, but kept them held.
"I had a feeling that would happen," Sabe' said. "But, we can't linger here for too long, we've got to keep moving if we are going to find Solin."
The group then proceeded down the hallway. As they made their way deeper and deeper into the academy, they found several more swarms of Dark Jedi. They killed each Dark Jedi that confronted them in quick, small battles. After they defeated the tenth wave of Dark Jedi, Keira spoke.
"I can sense that we are getting closer to Solin," she said. "I think we only have one more room to cross before we find him. I also sense that there is something, some barrier we will have to overcome in the next room. Are you all prepared to keep going?" The group nodded. "Okay, then let's move."
They opened the door leading to the next room. The door behind them closed and they ran toward the other door at the end, which happened to be open. When they got close to the door, it suddenly shut. They stopped running and turned around as they heard someone laughing and approaching footsteps. A man, wearing red robes of the Dark Jedi was walking toward them, laughing hysterically and clapping as though he were congratulating them.
"Very good, my friends," he said in a dark voice. "You've made it this far trying to get to your friend, well done."
"Who are you?" Keira demanded.
"I? I am Lord Tobos, third in command to Lord Nacluv."
"Where's Solin?" Sabe' asked.
"Your friend is in the next room," Tobos answered. "However, I will not allow you to pass."
"You won't have to," Elocin said, igniting her lightsaber. "You three!" she shouted to Sabe', Keira, and Ngema, "Get to Solin, go!" With a wave of her hand, she opened the door to the next chamber and then force-pushed Tobos back. Sabe', Keira, and Ngema ran out of the room and Elocin shut the door behind them. She, Y'not, and Bazila then cautiously approached Tobos, who was slowly getting up.
"Excellent work, Jedi," he laughed. "You may have let your friends pass through, but they won't survive the next chamber."
"Oh, I sense that they will," Elocin replied, smiling. "They have survived your master before and will do so again."
Tobos cackled. "Oh, he's not in there, Jedi. Your friend Solin is in there, waiting for them. He's turned over to our side and is ready to prove himself to our master, Lord Nacluv." With that, Tobos quickly drew out his own lightsaber and ignited a crimson red blade. With a battle cry, he leapt forward and started attacking Elocin who blocked all of his attacks. Y'not and Bazila drew their swords and started trying to attack Tobos from behind. Tobos laughed again. "You think you can defeat me?"
Meanwhile, Sabe', Keira, and Ngema made their way into the next chamber. They walked down a narrow walkway toward the center of the room, which they guessed was the very heart of the academy they were in. As they approached the center, they noticed a hooded figure, clad in a black cloak, sitting there mediating. When they reached the figure, he stood up and turned around, lowering his hood. It was Solin.
"Solin! Are you okay?"
Solin laughed, but it was not the laugh they used to hear from him. Instead, it was an evil laugh, full of hatred and malice.
"Of course I'm okay, Keira."
"What have they done to you?" Sabe asked.
"They didn't do anything to me, it was Vulcan who convinced me to turn to the Dark Side."
"No, Solin, tell me it's not true!" Ngema cried.
"Yes it's true, I am no longer a Jedi," Solin replied. With that, he raised his hand and blasted force lightning at Keira, knocking her to her feet. She lay on the ground in agony for a few minutes before getting back up again. "You see? If I was a Jedi, I would never have done that."
"But Solin," Sabe' said. "You know what you are doing is wrong, you can sill come back to the Light Side."
"No, my former master. I don't know that what I'm doing is wrong. I think it's right. And now, I am going to prove myself to Vulcan by killing you!" Solin shouted before throwing off his cloak and drawing out a lightsaber. Keira noticed that it was the same lightsaber he had as a Jedi and guessed right before he ignited it that the blade had changed. Solin ignited a blood red blade before letting out a bellow of fury and leaping toward his former comrades. The Jedi quickly ignited their lightsabers and dropped into battle stances. Solin aimed for Keira who easily blocked his attack and pushed him back with her body weight.
Back in the chamber outside, Elocin, Y'not, and Bazila continued to fight Tobos valiantly. Tobos was equal in power to all three of them on his own and didn't seem to be wearing down at all. In one swift move, he kicked Elocin over and then faced Bazila and Y'not. Quickly, he force-pushed Y'not back as far as he could and advanced on Bazila. Bazila defended herself against Tobos, but started wearing down quickly. Elocin got back on her feet and advanced on the Dark Lord. Tobos then swung his lightsaber and made contact with Bazila's leg, causing her to fall to the ground. Y'not howled in rage and ran toward Tobos, both his swords raised to kill. Tobos turned toward Y'not and lifted a hand in a choking matter. Y'not stopped, dropped his swords and clutched his throat - Tobos was force choking him.
Elocin then caught Tobos' attention by speaking to him. "Tobos!" he turned to face her, still choking Y'not. "Dodge this!" With a wave of her hand, she flung a table at Tobos who jumped out of the way to avoid it.
"You filthy Jedi!" Tobos shrieked, and started advancing on Elocin. He didn't notice that Y'not had quickly recovered and was slowly and stealthily following him. Elocin smiled and deactivated her lightsaber. Tobos raised his and smiled his evil smile. "Do you give up, do you want me to kill you now?"
"No, you won't be able to," Elocin said, laughing now.
"What do-" Tobos started, but before he could finish, Y'not had grabbed him from behind. The Wookie growled in anger as he lifted the struggling Tobos off his feet. Tobos dropped his lightsaber and made to use a force power against Y'not but Y'not quickly wrapped his hand around Tobos' neck, returning the favor of being chocked. Bazila got up with help from Elocin and limped over to Y'not who cooed at the sight of his partner. Y'not kept Tobos held by the throat until he fainted and then dropped him.
Solin continued his attack on his former friends. Even with their own individual powerful talents, Keira's fighting skills, Ngema's command over the force, and Sabe's combination of the two, the Jedi were still almost nothing in power compared to him. Solin then quickly kicked over Sabe' and turned his attention to his former apprentice and her own apprentice. He laughed evilly and force-pushed Ngema far back, knocking her against a wall. He then leaped toward Keira who put up a vicious counter-attack. The two fought one-on-one while Sabe' ran over to Ngema and helped her up. Suddenly, Keira kicked Solin in the chest and knocked him back, sending his lightsaber flying ten feet from him. Keira then pointed her blade at Solin's throat. Ngema and Sabe' relit their lightsabers and stood next to Keira, their blades pointed at Solin. Solin had a panicked look upon his face.
"Now Solin," Keira said. "You will come with us and turn away from the Dark Side forever!"
Solin laughed again. "No," he said in his most evil voice. "No, no, no, YOU WILL FAIL!" With that, he unleashed a wave of the force and pushed the three Jedi all across the room. He then quickly grabbed his lightsaber and ran along the pathway leading to the adjacent corridor. The Jedi quickly recovered, lit their lightsabers, and ran after Solin, using force speed to try and catch up with him. Solin blasted open the door with an almost lazy wave of his hand and ran into the corridor. He saw Tobos lying on the ground and noticed Elocin and her companions. Quickly, he force-pushed all of them out of his way with one movement of his hand and ran to Tobos. He kicked Tobos awake, who jumped up instantly, calling his own lightsaber to him. A red cloud of smoke then appeared around Solin and Tobos, signaling that they were going to force-apparate out. Solin then shouted, "WE'LL MEET AGAIN, MY OLD FRIENDS!" as Sabe', Keira, and Ngema ran into the room. He then laughed again and disappeared with Tobos.
Sabe', Keira, and Ngema came to a halt right as Solin disappeared. "NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" Keira screamed.
"It's okay, Keira," Elocin said. "We now know what's become of Solin and we can try to stop him and turn him back with the approval of the council to go after him."
"But he won't turn back!" Keira cried.
"Don't say that, Keira," Sabe' said soothingly. "There is always hope for anyone who has turned to the Dark Side, even someone delved so deep in it as Solin or Vulcan."
"Now, we must move," Elocin said. "We have to get out of here and report to the council what we found. I also what to report to them that I have found two possible candidates to join our Order," she finished, gesturing at Y'not and Bazila. "These two have shown strength equal to many on the Jedi Council and they would both prove to be valuable assets. Now, let's move out."
The group left the academy, not encountering any Dark Jedi along the way. When Ngema pointed this out, Sabe' offered an explanation.
"Solin will have sent a message to them, ordering them all to get out while we stayed in the building," he explained. "It is likely that he fears all of our powers against him and that's why he escaped with Tobos."
They made their way toward their ship. Once on board, Sabe' advised everyone to relax and heal any injuries they had. Keira went back to her room and sat down on her bed. As she sat down, she thought about what might happen to Solin if they met again and wondered if it was possible that he could be saved….
FanFic: Wipeout Chapter One: Assembly
This is the first chapter of the sequel to Consumed by Darkness. Enjoy!
Keira Port and her apprentice Ngema Resor stood outside the Jedi council chambers, waiting to be admitted. They were going to request to start a rescue team that would lead an operation to find and return Keira's former master, Solin Malice, who had gone missing about a month before. Solin had traveled to Malachor V, in search of his former friend Vulcan Gunner, who had created a new kind of Dark Jedi known as the Sith. He hadn't been heard from since arriving at Malachor and Keira was beginning to worry that he had been captured. After waiting in silence for a few moments, the council doors opened. Keira and Ngema proceeded into the council chambers. They stood, side-by-side, in the center of the chambers before Sabe' Weinstein, Solin's former master spoke.
"Keira, Ngema, to what do we owe the pleasure?" he asked.
"I think we all know why Ngema and I are here, master Sabe'," Keira replied irritably.
"About Solin?"
"Yes, he's been missing for a month and I really think we should send a rescue team after him."
"We understand your position, Keira," Sabe' said. "Unfortunately, none of the masters of the council are willing to lead the rescue team."
"I'll do it," Keira said quickly. "I already have some team members assembled."
"Who do you have?"
"I have Y'not Yorbn, a Wookie friend of Solin's and Bazila Trebreh, Y'not's partner, prepared to accompany us on the rescue."
"Very good," Sabe' replied. "We will convene together for a few moments about your situation."
Keira and Ngema left the council chambers for a few minutes. They were summoned back in quickly.
"Keira, we have spoken and we have agreed to send two members of the council with you on the rescue mission," Sabe' said.
"Thank you, masters, who will be joining us?"
"Myself, and Elocin Trahkrik," Sabe' replied. He and Elocin stood up and strode over to Keira and Ngema and stood next to them. Master Ewan Nielson then spoke to them.
"You need to be very careful," he warned. "Malachor V is a dark planet. It is very possible that the temptation to resist the Dark Side with prove difficult once who get on the planet. It is also probable to say that Solin himself may have been influenced by the Dark Side while on the planet so you would do well to be cautious when you find him. May the force be with all of you and good luck in your mission."
The next day, the rescue team boarded a transport that was provided by the Jedi council that would take them all to Malachor V. When they were settled and the ship had entered hyperspace, the group met in around a large table and Keira discussed the plan.
"Alright, here's how it will go down: we have reason to believe that there is a Dark Jedi academy on the planet," she explained. "We will start there and search in the academy for Solin. We will all stay together unless something drastic happens. If we need to split up, Elocin, Y'not, and Bazila will stay together and the rest of us will go for Solin. Master Sabe', Ngema, and I will have the most influence over Solin if he has indeed been tempted by the Dark Side. Any questions?" Nobody responded. "Alright then, let's get some rest before we get to Malachor, we'll be there in about six hours and we will need plenty of rest."
The group left the table and proceeded to their own dormitories. Each of them slowly drifted off to sleep, not knowing what they were about to meet….
FanFic: Consumed by Darkness Chapter 5: Battle of Naboo
The 5th and final chapter of Consumed by Darkness. Enjoy!
King Mobbs' ship left hyperspace not far from Naboo. The blockade from Malastarian ships no longer surrounds the planet. Instead, the only ship remaining in Commander Nute's command ship. Inside the ship, King Mobbs is meeting with all members of his guard and the Jedi, discussing the plan for when they reach the planet. Elocin Trahkrik sits on the floor meditating.
"As soon as we land, the Malastarians will arrest you and force you to sign the treaty," Captain Menousek said. "I don't know what you wish to accomplish with this."
"I will take back what's ours," King Mobbs replied shortly.
"They are too few of us, your majesty, we have no army. There is no way we can fight against Malastare," Menousek urged.
Without warning, Elocin suddenly stood up and addressed Captain Menousek.
"No, there is a chance," she said. "If Keira stays out of the fighting and remains here to use her battle meditation, we will have a chance of fighting. I sense the only people who are a threat to us that remain on the planet are the Malastarian high unit group, and that group isn't much."
"I also sense Vulcan will reveal himself," Solin added. "However, I think he won't be a problem with Keira's battle meditation and fighting against a Jedi Master and myself."
"Don't be too quick to think, Solin," cautioned Elocin. "He may pose a threat to you, given your past. However, this group of us should suffice getting into the palace and capturing Commander Nute' in order to end this conflict."
"Thank you, master Jedi," King Mobbs said. "My guards and I will discuss battle plans for the infiltration of the palace. If you please…" he finished, gesturing the Jedi out of his quarters.
The Jedi left and went to the cockpit to speak with the pilots.
"The plan is in motion, pilot Senih," Solin said. "I suggest you join them for the planning, along with your co-pilots."
"I don't need to follow orders from a Jedi, but whatever," Young Senih replied and with that, he exited the cockpit leaving the Jedi to pilot the ship to Naboo.
Solin sat down at the controls and began to navigate the ship towards Naboo. As he piloted the ship, he spoke to Keira.
"Keira, I want you to remain here on the ship using your battle meditation until you feel it is absolutely necessary to join the battle yourself, you understand?"
"Yes, master," Keira replied. "I'll only enter the palace if your old friend reveals himself and I feel I cannot intervene anymore with my battle meditation."
"Good. Now let's see if I can't get us to land on the planet without crashing this bucket of bolts."

In the Naboo palace, Commander Nute' sat in King Mobbs' throne room chair surrounded by Malastarian guards. Suddenly, a hologram of Lord Nacluv appears to speak with him.
"Yes my lord?" Nute' said.
"Commander, the King is returning to the planet in order to lead an assault on the palace in order to retake control of the planet," Nacluv said.
"That won't be a problem, my lord," Nute' said sheepishly. "There is no way they can get past all the guards and…" Nute' said, before stopping, being force choked through the hologram by Nacluv.
"You scum, they have a Jedi Master with them now! You must prepare to fight against them because you don't stand a chance against a Jedi Master. That is why I am coming to the palace to deal with the Jedi," Nacluv said, releasing his hold on Nute' who collapsed out of the chair and stood up, massaging his throat.
"You're coming here?"
"Yes, you idiot. I'm coming there to deal with my old friend and his Jedi friends. I expect you to be ready for battle when I get there or you shall suffer my…. displeasure…" Nacluv said, before the hologram faded.
Commander Nute' turned to his lieutenant and spoke to him.
"Get the men ready for battle," he said. "If it's true that a Jedi Master is involved, then we must prepare for a long and difficult battle."
"Yes commander, I will send word for the troops to get ready for battle,"
________________________________________________________________________
Solin successfully landed the ship in a hangar not too far from the palace. He turned the engines off and left the cockpit with his apprentice and Elocin to meet the King. The group met outside the ship in the hangar, all of Mobbs' entourage armed with blasters, including Ngema.
"All right, master Jedi," Mobbs said. "We are ready to fight our way to the palace, are you prepared to join us?"
"Yes your majesty," Solin replied. "My apprentice will remain here and master Elocin and I will join you at the palace. I sense we will meet no trouble until we reach the palace itself. Lead the way, your majesty."
With cries of excitement for the pending battle, Mobbs' entourage turned and began to lead the group to the palace. They made their way to the palace, meeting no resistance. The streets were empty, nearly all citizens of the planet taken to prison camps by the Malastare forces. When the reached the palace, King Mobbs activated the door and the group entered the palace. They ran down the first corridor, before meeting Malastare troops down another corridor leading to the throne room. Solin and Elocin activated their lightsabers, Elocin's a bright orange blade. Together with the guards, the Jedi successfully protected Mobbs' from harm.
The group continued on, arriving in the council meeting room of the Naboo palace. As they made their way to the other door leading to the corridor that would take them to the throne room, the door opened, revealing a black-cloaked hooded figure. Ngema and Captain Menousek stood closest to the figure, stopped short of the figure and raised their blasters, ready to attack.
"Reveal yourself, intruder," Ngema said confidently. "You are blocking the path of the King of this planet."
Solin and Elocin walked side-by-side through the now completely stopped group to where Ngema and Menousek stood. They removed their cloaks and pulled out their lightsabers.
"What is it, master Jedi?" asked Captain Menousek as the hooded figure raised his head, revealing his face to be Vulcan's.
"We'll handle this, Captain Menousek," Solin said. "This is a personal matter and also one you cannot handle, this is a Dark Jedi."
"Understood, master Solin," said King Mobbs. "We'll take the long way to the throne room and seal the door behind us so you can handle this matter."
With that, Captain Menousek, Ngema, and Mobbs lead their group back out the door they cam in and closed the door. Vulcan lowered his hood and removed his cloak, pulling out both of his lightsabers.
"Well old friend," he said in an unrecognizable voice that revealed his dark nature. "You got lucky last time. Even with a Jedi master on your side, I will still defeat you."
"Vulcan, don't try us," Solin said, activating his lightsaber while Elocin ignited hers. "You cannot hope to stand a chance against a Jedi Master and my apprentice's battle meditation."
"Oh…can't I?" Vulcan replied, activating both of this lightsabers and striking at the Jedi. The trio has a short duel, before Vulcan kicks Solin over and turns to Elocin. Vulcan strikes his lightsabers and her and she blocks, placing them into a lightsaber hold. Quick as a flash, Vulcan slices at her left arm and right leg, injuring Elocin, causing her to collapse onto the ground.
"Hahahahaha." Vulcan laughed. "Now to handle you, my old friend."
Solin got back up and began to valiantly attack his former Jedi friend. The two remember each other's favorite moves, successfully blocking each other's attacks and counterattacks. After much fighting, Solin begins to wear down. He blocks one of Vulcan's attacks and pushes him back. Vulcan quickly recovers and raises one of his hands and blasts force lighting at Solin. Solin is lifted into the air by the force of the attack and is slammed down into the ground.
"No…Solin," Elocin said weakly, before falling unconscious. Vulcan laughed again and raised his blade at Solin, preparing for the kill. Suddenly, a woman's voice is heard screaming "NO!" followed by a lightsaber igniting. Vulcan turned and around and saw Keira standing at the open door, lightsaber active.
"How sweet," he said. "A young apprentice comes to rescue her master. Yet you don't realize something, young one. I am a Sith Lord, the most powerful of all the Dark Jedi."
"Your words mean nothing if you can't live up to your reputation," Keira replied before rushing up and attacking Vulcan. Solin, still conscious watched as his apprentice and his former friend fight for his life. Vulcan blocked Keira's attack and pushed her back.
"Well, I'll have to deal with you first before I can take care of my old friend here."
________________________________________________________________________
Meanwhile, King Mobbs and his entourage made their way to the throne room, meeting several small groups of Malastare soldiers, which they easily took out. Finally, after wiping out every guard who resisted them, the group reached the throne room door. King Mobbs turned to his group before proceeding.
"All right everyone," he said. "The time has come. We must capture the Commander and take out any guards in this room. If it is our time to die, then we cannot do anything about that except take as many as this cowards as we can!"
The group cheered and Mobbs turned around and activated the door, opening it. Inside the throne room, the Commander and his guards turned around in surprise at the group's sudden appearance. Mobbs and his guards stormed the room, firing at all of the guards surrounding the Commander. In a matter of seconds, all Malastare guards lay dead and only Commander Nute' and his lieutenant remain with the guards. Captain Menousek and Ngema hold them at gunpoint while the King approaches them.
"Jam the doors!" ordered Menousek. Two guards ran to the controls and shut the door, successfully jamming it.
"Now, Commander Nute'," King Mobbs said to the cowering commander. "You will have to answer for your actions."
"Don't be so sure you majesty," Nute' said. "Lord Nacluv will be along shortly after dealing with your Jedi friends and will free us."
"I don't think so," Ngema replied. "I have a feeling that Lord Nacluv will be stopped by them and will be forced to flee. It's almost as I can see it happening now."
______________________________________________________________________
Back in the council meeting room, Keira and Vulcan continued to fight. Keira fought hard, Vulcan was having difficulty blocking all of her attacks. In one swift movement, Keira sliced at Vulcan and successfully broke his red lightsaber and then kicked him away. Vulcan recovered and slowly began pacing the room. Keira, seeing a break in the fight, paced also.
"You have fought well young one," he chided. "How about, you say goodbye to all of your Jedi teachings and join me as my apprentice?"
"No way," Keira said. "I would rather die than become a servant of the Dark Side!"
"Very well, young Jedi. I shall deal…" Vulcan said before being force pushed back by a stronger force than normal. When he fell, his lightsaber deactivated in his hand. Keira turned around, and Solin stood there and reactivated his lightsaber. Seeing his former friend standing there, Vulcan let out a scream of fury.
"YOU! I WILL KILL YOU AND THE REST OF THE JEDI!" he screamed before blasting a very powerful wave of force lighting at Solin and Keira. The two Jedi raised their lightsabers and blocked the attack. Together, they moved closer to Vulcan, forcing him to unleash less power in order to prevent from hurting himself. The Jedi continued to move forward until Vulcan let out another scream of fury, and blasted out a powerful force wave that sent Solin and Keira flying around the room. A red cloud began to form around Vulcan as he screamed to the Jedi, "THIS ISN'T OVER SOLIN!" With that, Vulcan force apparated out of the room.
Solin and Keira deactivated their lightsabers and walked over to Elocin, who still lay on the ground. Solin knelt beside her and waved his hand over her face. Slowly, Elocin opened her eyes and looked around her.
"What happened?" she asked.
"Vulcan tried to tempt Keira to join the dark side. I got back up and he blasted force lightning at us. We moved closer to try and capture him but he blew us back with the force and force apparated out of here." Solin replied. "Are you all right?"
"I'm fine. I feel that Ngema could sense what was going on in here when she was in the throne room. I think that will be enough for the council to consider training her as a Jedi."
With help from Solin, Elocin got up. At that moment, Ngema entered the room alone.
"Are you all alright?" she asked. "I had a feeling something was going to happen that would allow you to capture him."
"Well, we tried to Ngema," Keira said. "Unfortunately, Vulcan got away before we could capture him."
"Oh no. What can we do?"
"Nothing yet," Elocin replied. "We must inform the Jedi Council and get their opinion on the matter."
"Well, you won't have to wait long, master Jedi. They are on their way now along with the Chancellor. They want to make sure everything is all right. They will be here tomorrow." Ngema said.
"Good," Elocin said. "Until then, I must be treated for my injuries and we must all get some rest."
"Can't argue with that," Solin replied.
________________________________________________________________________
The next day, Solin and Keira stood before the Jedi Council in the council meeting room, which had been repaired and cleaned up upon the Council's arrival. The Council was seated exactly as they usually are on Coruscant. After Solin finished his report on the recapture of the palace, Sabe' Weinstein spoke.
"You've done well Solin and Keira," he said. "Because of your actions, Solin, you will be promoted to Jedi Master and given a seat on the Council."
"Thank you, my master," Solin replied.
"And you Keira, will be promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight and will take on Ngema Resor as your apprentice."
"I understand, master Sabe' and thank you. When shall I inform Ngema?" Keira asked.
"As soon as possible," replied Sabe'. "She will need to inform King Mobbs that she is going to become a Jedi. Now to the matter of utmost importance: the Senate has voted to create an army of the Republic and we as Jedi have been selected to head this army. At any time that is required, we must lead the army of the Republic against the dangers of Dark Jedi and other threats similar to this one. However, we are not to intervene in battles, merely to lead, unless Dark Jedi are involved. Do you understand?"
"We do, master," Solin said. "We will not intervene unless Vulcan or any other Dark Jedi is involved."
"Good. This council is now adjourned. We will see you tonight at the ceremony of Peace." Sabe' concluded.
________________________________________________________________________
That night, the Ceremony of Peace was held in the palace grounds. King Mobbs led the citizens of Theed in a party celebrated their victory over Malastare. There was dancing, singing, and a very laid back atmosphere. The Jedi Council joined in the celebrating, enjoying drinks provided by the palace' catering. Keira and Ngema stood together, Ngema clad in new Jedi robes. Solin sat alone nearby at a bar, enjoying a drink of his own. His former apprentice approached him and spoke to him.
"Are you all right, Solin?" she asked.
"Yes, I'm fine Keira," he replied. "I just wish it didn't have to come to this. I could never have imagined Vulcan would actually attempt to kill me after all we went through when he was a Jedi."
"There is still hope for him, Solin. You mustn't forget that."
"I know there is," Solin said, twirling the necklace Vulcan had given him so long ago that he still wore all the time.
"Come on," Keira said, tugging Solin's arm. "Let's join in the celebrating. We are going to need it."
"All right, I'm coming," Solin, replied, taking one last drink. As he walked back over with Keira, he looked toward the stars, wondering what was in store for him and Vulcan in the future. Would they meet again? If they met again, what would that mean for the both of them and the rest of the galaxy? Setting aside these questions for a later time, Solin joined the rest of Theed in the celebrations, enjoying the time they all had before new threats could set in…
FanFic: Consumed by Darkness Chapter 4: Plea in the Senate
Okay, so I was sick of reviewers on FanFic complaining about my story being in script form so I converted to regular story form and found that it was easier to write this way. Here is chapter four of Consumed by Darkness. Enjoy!
King Mobbs' ship exited hyperspace, coming out very close to Coruscant, the home of the Senate of the Grand Republic. The ship slowed as it neared the planet, preparing to enter the atmosphere.
Inside the cockpit, Solin and Keira remained with Pilot Senih. The ship entered the atmosphere and after a few moments, those in the cockpit were able to catch their first look at the Capital.
"It seems a lifetime since we've seen home," Solin said. "With everything that's happened, we must report to the Jedi Council upon landing, Keira."
"Yes master."
The ship then approached a landing platform, where standing waiting for the ship, stood Supreme Chancellor Verna von Croy, a man of elegance. He stands were a navy blue set of elegant robes, symbolizing his leadership of the Republic. As the ship lands, various guards join the Chancellor as approaches the ship. The ship lands slowly and the landing ramp is lowered. King Mobbs' guards exit the ship with King Mobbs and Captain Menousek in tow.
"It is a great gift to see you alive King Mobbs," von Croy said. "With the communications being lost at Naboo, we've been very worried."
The Jedi and Ngema exited the ship last and walked up to the Chancellor and bowed.
"Chancellor von Croy," Solin said. "I must speak with the Jedi Council immediately, the situation has become much more serious."
"Of course, master Malice," von Croy said. "I shall accompany King Mobbs to my quarters while you speak with the council. He and I need to discuss what he is going to propose to the Senate later today."
The Chancellor accompanies King Mobbs and his entourage to a transport waiting for them. Solin motions for Ngema to accompany them and she follows them. The group boards the transport and travel to von Croy's quarters.
* * *
In the Jedi Council chambers, Solin and Keira stand before the Jedi Council to relay their report. The Council is compromised of the same members that convicted Solin and Vulcan previously, including Solin's former master and a new member: Jedi master Elocin Trahkrik.
"We were then ambushed by a hooded cloaked figure. He lowered his hood and revealed himself to be Vulcan," Solin said.
"You mean as in Vulcan Gunner, the young Jedi who was expelled ten years ago?" asked Elocin.
"The very same," Solin replied. "He claims he has turned to the dark side and created the Sith, exactly as he predicted shortly before he was expelled."
Liam Park and Sabe' Weinstein exchanged looks before Sabe' spoke to his former apprentice: "Solin, are you sure that it what he said?"
"Yes, master. He claimed to only want the King and not us, but I refused to give him up. He then pulled out two lightsabers, one of his own and the one I gave him when he left. He dueled Keira and I before escaping," Solin concluded.
"Solin, I think it wise for you to focus on the mission rather than on Vulcan. We will handle him," Park said. "We will use all of our resources to discover what has happened with Vulcan. May the force be with you."
Keira bowed and walked towards the exit of the chambers. Solin remained in front of the council for a few moments before Sabe' spoke.
"Solin, do you have more to say?"
"With your permission my master," Solin replied. Sabe' nodded and Solin continued. "I believe I have found someone who can be trained in our ways."
"And who is that person?" Sabe' asked.
"The head of security of the King, Ngema Resor. She is very capable in combat and I believe she will be a great asset to our order."
"Thank you for telling us this, Solin," Master Ewan Nielson said. "We will discuss this matter together and contact you when we have reached a decision on the matter."
"I understand, Master Nielson." Solin said. "Keira and I will now see to the King in the Chancellor's quarters."
He bowed to the council before walking towards Keira at the exit. The two exited the Jedi Council chambers.
The Chancellor's quarters truly showed the elegance of von Croy. The walls were golden and chromed perfectly, shining continuously. From the main window, one could see much of the city, including places in a distant location. King Mobbs sat on a couch while von Croy paced the room and they discussed their plans for the plea to the Senate.
"What options have we?" King Mobbs asked.
"Our best choice would be for you to appear before the Senate with Senator Jear of your planet. I know he will be able to help create a sympathy vote for our situation. The best option would be for you to ask for the creation of an army of the Republic in order to counter the threat of Malastare and the Dark Jedi," von Croy replied.
"You know very well Chancellor that I don't want to revert to violence."
"I understand your concern, your majesty but unfortunately, I believe we have no other choice."
"Alright, Chancellor, I will speak with Senator Jear about our plea to the Senate."
* * *
The senate chambers look exactly as they do in the future with the Fall of the Old Republic. Chancellor von Croy stands in his podium, standing next to two of his aides. He speaks with a magnified voice that carries throughout the entire Senate Chambers.
"The chair recognizes the honorable Senator Nvled Jear of Naboo," he said.
A pod carrying the Senator of Naboo, Mobbs, Menousek, and the Jedi floats out to meet the Chancellor at the podium. The pod stops short of the podium and floats as Senator Jear rises to speak to the Senate. Jear is a middle-aged man, dressed in elegant green robes, rivaling those of von Croy.
"Supreme Chancellor and delegates of the Senate," Jear began. "A tragedy has occurred during the Malastare-Naboo blockade which has now engulfed our entire planet with the oppression of the army of Malastare. To state his allegations, I present King Mobbs, the recently elected ruler of the Naboo to speak on our behalf."
Some members of the Senate applaud as King Mobbs rises to address them. He is dressed in elaborate red robes, signifying the bloodshed his planet has recently witnessed as a result of the invasion.
"Honorable representatives of the Republic: I come to you under the gravest of circumstances," Mobbs began. "The Naboo system has been invaded by the armies of Malastare as well as with several Dark Jedi. I come before you to ask for the creation of an army in order to counter the threat of the Dark Jedi."
Members of the Senate cheered for Mobbs while others cried in outrage at the thought of a creation of an army.
"ORDER!" cried one of von Croy's aides. The crying of the Senators ended abruptly.
"The Senate will discuss this matter in a future session, King Mobbs. We will vote on the creation of the army as soon as possible. Senate adjourned."
* * *
Solin and Keira stand before the Jedi Council again at sunset following the session in the Senate. Sabe' addresses Solin directly
"Well Solin, we have decided to send one of our members with you in order to examine this Ngema in her abilities to use the force."
"And who will be joining us?" Solin asked.
"Master Elocin Trahkrik will go along with you," Sabe' said.
Trahkrik rose from her chair and stood next to Solin and Keira. She shook hands with them and faced the council.
"Now we ask the three of you to return to the King as soon as possible," Sabe' said. "He has decided to return to Naboo in order to take matters into his own hands and stop the invasion. We need to protect him at all costs. This could put pressure on Malastare and widen their confrontation."
"And draw out Vulcan Gunner," added Ewan Nielson.
"Go with the King to Naboo and try to discover what has happened to your former friend," Liam Park said.
"May the force be with you all," Sabe' added.
Solin, Keira, and Elocin bowed and exited the Council Chambers. Liam Park turned to Sabe' and spoke.
"I hope you were right in the fact that he can confront Gunner alone with only one council member Sabe'."
"Don't worry master Park," Sabe' replied. "I trust Solin very much and I know he can handle it on his own as long as he keeps his head."
* * *
Back on the landing platform, King Mobbs, his entourage, and the Jedi prepare to board the King's ship. It is late at night for Coruscant as the group prepares to leave the planet. Keira and Elocin lead Captain Menousek and the other guards aboard the ship while Solin speaks with Ngema and the King.
"Ngema, you are to come with us and be observed by one of the members of the council," he said.
"What for?" she asked.
"I have a feeling that you would have great potential as a Jedi and the Council agreed to allow one of their members to follow us and observe you potential."
"I would be honored to serve the Jedi, master Solin. I think I better get on board, your apprentice is waving me over."
Solin turned to the King and spoke. "Your majesty it is our pleasure to continue to serve and protect you."
The two began walking towards the ship as the engines fired up. Mobbs replied, "I welcome your help. Chancellor von Croy and Senator Jear fear Malastare means to destroy me."
"I assure you, I will not allow that to happen," Solin responded. The two boarded the ship and the exit ramp receded back onto the ship.
The ship fired up and took off a few moments later. It flew through the traffic of Coruscant before shooting upward towards the planet's atmosphere. The ship flew through the atmosphere and exited the planet, entering space. Mobbs' ship continued flying before blasting into hyperspace, heading back to its origin of Naboo…

Chapter three of Consumed by Darkness. Enjoy!
Fade in from previous scene. Solin and Keira's ship is shown slowing down shortly before landing in a deserted forest. Cut camera to Solin and Keira exiting the ship
Ext. - Naboo Swamp - Day
Keira Port
Master, where have we landed?
Solin pulls out a comlink and activates it. He looks at it for a moment before replying.
Solin Malice
It appears we are in a forest a short distance from the capital city. The journey would be a half-day if we were not Jedi. Come Keira, we must get to the palace quickly, I sense the invasion is about to begin.
Keira Port
Yes master.
Solin and Keira turn and with a swish of their cloaks vanish in a cloud of white, similar to Xantos aboard the ship. They reappear in the Capital City where several Malastarian ships and tanks line the streets along with many soldiers and dark Jedi. The two enter a nearby cantina, full of many species - similar to the Mos Eisley Cantina. They spot a young woman, in her teens, having an argument with a rodian.
Girl
I said get away from me bug eye. Now give me some space!
Rodian (in native language)
Little girl needs to be taught lesson
Solin Malice (with a wave of his hand)
You don't want to do that.
Rodian
I don't want to do that.
Solin Malice
You want to go home and rethink your life.
Rodian
I want to go home and rethink my life.
The Rodian leaves. The girl turns to Solin and Keira. She is carrying a blaster pistol in a holster in her clothing, which appears to be fighting clothing. Her hair is jet-black and tied in a ponytail to keep it out of her face.
Girl
Thank you, master Jedi. My name is Ngema Resor. I am a security guard at the palace. Welcome to Naboo.
Solin Malice
Thank you, Ngema. Can you do a favor for us?
Ngema Resor
Of course, master Jedi. I will do anything for you.
Solin Malice
Can you help us get into the palace? We need to get to the King and get him off the planet by the orders of the Chancellor.
Ngema Resor
Yes, master Jedi. I can accompany you into the palace. The guards should let us in since we are with a palace guard. We may encounter a bit of trouble since you are Jedi, but I have confidence we will do all right.
Solin Malice
Thank you, Keira. However, I ask that you step back if any dark Jedi try to intervene and let my apprentice and I handle it.
Ngema Resor
You have my word master Jedi.
Solin Malice
Then let us proceed. By the way, my name is Solin Malice and this is my apprentice Keira Port. I think it necessary for us to be acquainted since I have a feeling we will be fighting together soon. Lead us to the palace Ngema.
The trio leaves the cantina. Ngema leads the Jedi to the palace. The palace is a majestic building, a thing of beauty that all revel in. However, with the plague of Malastarian guards of soldiers and dark Jedi, the beauty can hardly be appreciated. The trio walks up the staircase leading to the main entrance. A guard dressed in a leader's outfit stops them.
Head Guard
Halt. State your business.
Solin Malice
I'm an ambassador to the Supreme Chancellor and I request entrance into the palace in order to speak with the King of Naboo.
A Dark Jedi approaches the trio and the head guard and speaks to Solin.
Dark Jedi
Lord Inte' was very disappointed he could not kill you aboard Commander Nute's ship, he has promised a great reward to whoever kills you, Jedi. ATTACK THEM!
Suddenly, all the guards around the palace open fire or ignite lightsabers. The head guard is cut down with a flash of Keira's lightsaber. The Dark Jedi fights both Solin and Keira before being struck down by Solin. The other guards and Dark Jedi advance on the trio.
Solin Malice
Ngema! Get to cover, Keira and I will handle the dark Jedi and you can handle the other guards!
Without a moment's hesitation, Ngema jumps behind something and begins covering Solin and Keira while the Jedi fight a handful of Dark Jedi. After minutes of fighting, all Dark Jedi and Malastarian Guards lay dead. The trio reunites and enters the palace.
Ngema Resor
There shouldn't be any more guards in here, their plan was to not let anyone in or out, and I gotta say, it was pretty useful. Come with me, I'll lead you to the throne room.
The Jedi follow Ngema, not knowing that a mysterious black-cloaked figure is slowly following them into the palace…
Int. - Commander Nute's Ship - Space
Commander Nute' and his lieutenant are reporting to Lord Nacluv, who is visible via hologram.
Commander Nute'
The invasion is on schedule my lord. Everything is going as planned.
Lord Nacluv
Good. I have the senate bogged down in procedures. They will have no choice but the accept your control of the planet.
Commander Nute'
But, Lord Nacluv, what of King Mobbs? He will need to be subjected to torture or something in order to legitimize our occupation of the planet.
Lord Nacluv
King Mobbs is young and naïve. You will find controlling him will not be difficult. Trust me Commander, I know Mobbs very well.
Commander Nute'
Yes, my lord.
The hologram of Nacluv fades.
Int. - Palace Corridor - Day
Solin, Keira and Ngema are in a corridor leading to the throne room. Ngema leads the Jedi to the door and activates it allowing them in. Inside, the trio finds King Mobbs surrounded by aides and bodyguards sitting there as if waiting for the trio's arrival. Solin and Keira approach the King and bow.
Solin Malice
King Mobbs. I am Solin Malice, Jedi ambassador to the chancellor and this is my apprentice Keira Port.
King Mobbs
Master Malice, your arrival is a little earlier than we expected. We thought you would still be negotiating with Nute' over the situation.
Solin Malice
I am afraid the negotiations never took your place your majesty. An invasion of the planet has begun. It is urgent that you get off the planet and get to the capital of the Republic.
King Mobbs
I was afraid this would happen. Captain Menousek, is my ship ready for takeoff?
Captain Menousek is a high-ranking Captain serving as the Head of the King Mobbs' security force. Her dedication to the system is matched only by her skill of any weapon, as she proves to be lethal in combat.
Captain Menousek
Yes, your majesty. The pilots are prepared to leave at a moments notice. However, it will be difficult getting past the blockade.
Solin Malice
Do not worry your majesty. Keira is an expert at Battle Meditation, and will be able to strengthen our chances of getting past the blockade and weaken the chances of the blockade hitting us.
Keira Port
I will handle it your majesty. You will have nothing to worry about.
King Mobbs
It is settled then. *he turns to his aides and guards* I want you all to go with us to the capital. The governors of the planet will remain here with their guards in order to keep watch over the planet in my absence. Now, let's moved.
The group begins to move, but are stopped at the door by the approach of the hooded figure that followed the Jedi and Ngema in. He stands at the door and lowers his hood, revealing that he is none other than Vulcan Gunner.
Solin Malice
Vulcan! What are you doing here?
Keira Port
What!? Your old friend that was expelled from the Jedi Order?
Vulcan Gunner
The one…and only Vulcan Gunner. Though now I am known as Lord Nacluv, Ruler of the Sith, the new Dark Jedi!
Solin Malice
No…it can't be…
Vulcan Gunner
Hahaha. I knew you would take it this way my old Jedi friend. Unfortunately for you, it is true, I created the Sith exactly as I did in that dream all those years ago. However, I do not wish to kill my old friend. Just hand over the King and I will allow you and your apprentice to leave.
Solin Malice
Well Vulcan, I'm afraid you will have to fight us; we are taking the King with us.
Vulcan Gunner
Very well. I shall deal with you.
He pulls out two lightsabers and ignites them. In his right hand, he holds a red blade of his own, in the other he holds a blue blade, the same lightsaber Solin gave to him ten years previously. The Jedi ignite their lightsabers and drop into their combat stances.
Vulcan Gunner
Seven minutes…seven minutes is all I can spare to play with you.
For seven minutes, the Jedi and Vulcan do battle. The King and the others retreat to the back of the throne room, waiting for the fighting to cease. Suddenly, Keira leaps up and kicks Vulcan back away from her and Solin. The Jedi run to continue fighting but Vulcan deactivates his lightsabers and puts his hood back on, laughing manically.
Vulcan Gunner
So long, for now my old Jedi friend. We will meet again soon!
With a swish of his cloak, Vulcan disappears into nothingness. Solin and Keira deactivate their lightsabers and Solin falls to his knees.
Solin Malice
Vulcan…how could he betray all he used to stand for?
Keira Port
Don't worry, Master. We can turn him back to our side in due course, but for now, we have a mission to complete.
Solin Malice
You right Keira. We should get to the King's ship and get out of here.
He gets back up to his feet. The King, Ngema, and the King's entourage walk over to him and Keira. Together, they leave the throne room and head to the hangar. They enter the hangar and find no resistance, but the sound of invading ships and soldiers can be heard outside on the grounds. The group begins to rush to the King's ship. The ship is a golden beauty, chromed perfectly to always appear new, and large enough to carrying triple the amount of people who were about to board the ship. The group gets aboard the ship and goes to various locations. The King, Captain Menousek, and about half the guards enter the King's quarters. The rest of the guards spread around various areas of the ship, including the guns in order to fire upon the blockade. The Jedi and Ngema join the pilots at the bridge and prepare for takeoff. The ship takes off under the direction of Young Senih, captain of the ship. He directs the ship off the planet and enters space.
Young Senih
There's the blockade. I think you better start using your force thing Menousek told me you could do Jedi.
Keira Port
You leave that do me pilot. I am fully aware of when I need to use my Battle Meditation.
Solin Malice
Keira…don't be too overconfident in your abilities. That can lead to the Dark Side.
Keira Port (in an annoyed voice)
Yes, master.
Keira sits down on the floor and shuts her eyes. As she does so, the blockade ships begin firing at the ship and the guards at the guns begin firing back. While she sits and remains focused on her task, the blockade starts missing the ship more, and the gunners are able to successfully defend the ship with ease. After passing through the blockade, Keira gets back up and stands next to her master.
Young Senih
Not bad, lady. You actually helped us make it through the blockade without help from your master…
Keira Port
Why you…
She lunges toward him, as if to smack him across the head. However, Solin grabs her arm and holds her back.
Solin Malice
Keira, you know that never works. *he drops her arm and she steps back* Now look here pilot, we are Jedi and do not need to be criticized when we do our job. Thank you very much.
He and Keira leave the bridge, followed closely by Ngema. The scene pans out to see the ship flying through space, before entering hyperspace in order to head to Coruscant…
